The Governor of Guilan announced the presence of all the invited countries in the Governors’ Forum of the Caspian Sea countries, stating that this level of participation has doubled the importance and special status of the meeting.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Guilan Governor’s office, Hadi Haghshenas, speaking at the coordination meeting of The First Caspian Governors’ Forum, emphasized the significance of hosting this international event. He urged all agencies to make efforts to ensure the meeting is held properly.

Haghshenas highlighted that the forum is not merely ceremonial but can serve as a social asset and development opportunity. He stressed the importance of joint hosting and the responsibility of all involved in making the forum a success.
The Governor of Guilan also mentioned the supportive messages from the country’s officials and the well wishes from the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman. He emphasized the importance of the forum and expressed optimism about its success, urging everyone to work diligently to strengthen this hope.

Haghshenas announced a potential direct Rasht-Muscat flight starting next week after meeting with the CEO of Asajet Company, Zolfaghari. He noted that such initiatives can attract investors to Guilan.
He also discussed the recent visits of the Deputy Minister of Tourism to hotel projects in the province, mentioning the examination of around 15 to 20 five-star hotel projects. He highlighted the potential for significant transformation in the tourism infrastructure of Rasht and Guilan if these projects are completed.
The Governor of Guilan mentioned that five Caspian Sea coastal countries will be present at the forum. He emphasized the forum’s potential to bring positive economic, tourism, and political developments to Guilan and the country, urging all institutions to work together to ensure its success.
