A high-ranking Azerbaijani delegation arrived at the Astara border crossing to participate in the First Caspian Governors’ Forum. The delegation, which included Taleh Karakayev, Governor of Lankaran, Mirhasan Saidov, Governor of Naftchala, and Mammad Cheraghali, Second Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, entered Iranian territory on Monday evening, November 16.
They were warmly welcomed by the governor of Astara and then departed for Rasht where
the First Caspian Governors’ Forum is being hosted by Guilan Province.
