The governor of Gilan said: The regional meeting of governors of the Caspian Sea coastal provinces will be hosted by Gilan.
According to the public relations of the Gilan governorate; Hadi Haghshenas met and discussed on Monday with Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Minister of Legal and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regarding the holding of this meeting and the details and necessary arrangements for this regional event that is to be held in this region.
This meeting was held with the aim of coordinating and making the necessary decisions for holding the meeting of governors of the Caspian Sea coastal provinces. The meeting will be held in Gilan with the participation of 13 governors from the countries of the region.
In this meeting, the two sides, referring to the importance of the role of the coastal provinces in developing regional cooperation, emphasized the need for constructive interaction within the framework of state-centered diplomacy and reviewed the areas of joint cooperation to enhance the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in relations with the countries of the Caspian Sea.
In this meeting, the Governor of Gilan stated that holding such regional meetings is a valuable opportunity to introduce Gilan’s capacities at the international level, and added: “Gilan is ready to host this important regional event.”
