The closing ceremony of the First Caspian Governors’ Forum took place in Rasht with the attendance of the Governor of Guilan and the Head of the Government Information Council. According to the public relations department of the Guilan Governor’s office, the ceremony began this morning with the presence of Hadi Haghshenas, Governor of Guilan, and Elias Hazrati, Head of the Government Information Council.
High-ranking delegations from the Caspian bordering countries, representatives of national and provincial agencies, and officials in the field of regional diplomacy attended the ceremony. A report on the achievements of the three-day specialized sessions of the forum was presented, and the participating governors and officials emphasized the need to strengthen economic cooperation, maritime transport, and develop cultural ties among the coastal provinces.
The closing of the forum aimed to summarize the discussions, formulate a final statement, and plan for the next stages of joint cooperation in the Caspian Sea.
