The Governor of Guilan announced that schools and universities will be closed and offices in Rasht will be opened with a delay for the First Caspian Governors’ Forum
Emphasizing the implementation of special traffic measures, the governor of Guilan announced that schools, universities and educational centers will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while offices and banks in Rasht will open with a 2-hour delay.
Hadi Haghshenas, in a recent conversation with reporters, mentioned that hosting such a significant event like the First Caspian Governors’ Forum requires special arrangements for traffic and urban management. He stated that necessary measures have been taken to ease travel and reduce traffic during the forum days. He added that “all schools in Rasht will be closed in the morning and afternoon on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as universities and scientific and educational centers, both public and private.”
The Governor of Guilan emphasized that managing the conditions on the day of the forum requires the collaboration from executive agencies. He mentioned that “Offices and banks (excluding service agencies) in Rasht will also begin their activities with a 2-hour delay.”
Haghshenas stated that these decisions aim to reduce traffic, congestion, ease access for participating delegations, and provide favorable conditions for the forum. He appreciated the cooperation of the people and educational institutions.
