According to the Public Relations Department of the Guilan Province Governor’s Office, the Prime Minister of the Russian Republic of Dagestan traveled to Guilan province to participate in the First Caspian Governors’ Forum. His Excellency Badalmuslim Abdulmulimov arrived in Rasht on Monday afternoon. Deputy Minister of Economy and Territorial Development Shamil Amayov, Minister of Industry and Trade Nizam Khalilov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Badreddin Magomedov, Director of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat and Deputy Prime Minister Abumuslim Khanipov, and Advisor to the Prime Minister Zarma Urazayeva accompanied Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia on this trip.

Furthermore, Hadi Haghshenas, Governor of Guilan, and His Excellency Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan, held talks to strengthen bilateral relations and regional cooperation.

During the meeting, Governor Haghshenas welcomed the Russian guest from the Republic of Dagestan and emphasized the importance of developing relations between the two countries and benefiting jointly from regional capacities.

Highlighting that Guilan is a strategic province with extensive industrial and commercial capacities, Governor Haghshenas mentioned that 30 percent of the country’s injectable drugs are produced in Guilan. He also noted the province’s significant role in international trade in the Caspian region.

Governor Haghshenas further stated that Guilan has a relatively good situation among the provinces of the country, thanks to regular rainfall for about half the year, which provides favorable conditions for natural resources and agriculture, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.

Prime Minister Abdulmuslimov acknowledged Guilan’s fertile agricultural lands and extensive livestock farming capacity, emphasizing the province’s potential in meat and agricultural production to meet the food needs of the region.

Expressing Dagestan’s readiness for joint cooperation, Prime Minister Abdulmuslimov expressed interest in expanding economic and agricultural exchanges with Guilan, as well as sharing experiences and technologies in livestock farming and meat production with the province.
